Madesimo was looking pretty sad today, shitty snow, but at least still nice snow in Val di Lei, if you avoid the exposed stones on the top of the pistes!!! Poor visibility in Lei so there weren't that many people for a sunday. We "rescued" a little girl from the slope who was refusing to ski down with her dad and he couldn't carry her cause he was on a snowboard. ;-)

Went skiing at Madesimo da sola for a few hours but wasn't really in the mood so probably shouldn't have bothered! felt kind of obliged to use the free few hours from work...but I think I need a rest...

Spent the morning before work skiing with Jeff up at Madesimo. The snow was actually pretty nice and great fun, and I'm slowly getting the hang of my new skis which makes it all the better ;-) The landscape around the ski slopes is practically bare of snow which is pretty sad though. This year is a pretty desperate year for skiing by all accounts!

A morning of lone skiing at Madesimo before work. Nice snow. New skis which are a little tricky. More people than I expected , because it's carnivale week. All in all a lovely morning.

First day trying out my new wider and longer skis :-) It was definitely pretty tricky. The snow was nice at Madesimo though. Jeff and I got a few hours of skiing in in the morning before work. Happy days! Especially nice after being away from home for a week and a half...

A morning of skiing with Cami at Madesimo before working the afternoon. Life is good :-)

Spent most of the day skiing at Madesimo with Jeff and Cami. Most of which was spent in Val di lei skiing powder!!! :-) Nobody else there, so we had the playground all to ourselves!

Bad weather but great snow at madesimo. Few people because of the weather, so Jeff, Serena and I had Val di Lei practically all to ourselves, skiing powder off piste. Fantastic!!! Serena could only stay till lunch time, but jeff and I continued till the last funivia down to Madesimo!

After the first work appointment of the day Jeff and I escaped to Madesimo for a couple of hours before returning for work again.

The end of the busy week at madesimo, with most of the Milanesi heading back home. Cloud covered for most of the day, and snowing a little on and off all day long. Perfect for reducing the crowds of people at the snow slopes. We had the place nearly to ourselves for the day :-)) Jeff, me, Serena, her Dad, and a guy called Natale. Gili was there for a short while too. Good snow conditions on piste, although off piste is sadly still very thin! Wonderful day skiing!!!
